New direction for Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik  seems to still be on the rise despite leaving One Direction earlier this year. The talented 22-year-old covered Rae Sremmurd’s ‘No Type’ with British rapper Mic Righteous and the cover received over 20,000 plays on SoundCloud in the first hour of its release. Although the lyrics were a departure from what we’re used to from Malik, the cover showcased his wide vocal range and showed that he has the potential to be a solo star.
