Emirati singer Ahlam Al-Shamsi has released the first part of her new album “The Last Embrace” on her official YouTube channel, featuring 12 songs. Ahlam described this album as the result of 30 years of her artistic career, during which she said she “learned a lot.”
In a message shared on her social media accounts, Ahlam expressed her joy in presenting the album, stating, “I am pleased to present to you this artistic gem from the depths of our authentic Gulf music, which, like gold, does not change.” She added, “I chose, produced, and oversaw every detail of this work, and I sang as if I were challenging myself to make my children, family, and large audience proud.”
She concluded her message by saying, “Praise be to God, Ahlam today is not the same as Ahlam of the past. I have grown, changed, and now carry my name to the sky, proud of it and proud of my country. I hope that this album will be part of documenting and rooting Gulf music in general, and Saudi music in particular.”
