Minister of Information Ziad Makary honored Maha Salma, among a new group of stars who have contributed to the success of Lebanon’s Television, at his office at the ministry. Following the meeting, Salma expressed her gratitude, saying, “I was honored to visit Minister Makary, a true friend of journalists. He is the right person in the right place, with his humility, dynamic spirit, and friendly demeanor. His way of dealing with all journalists equally, especially his support for Lebanon’s Television, is truly remarkable.”
Salma also shared her wish: “I hope that everyone who works with passion for their craft can experience the same feeling of being honored and appreciated by Minister Makary, for his acknowledgment of my long media journey at Lebanon’s Television.”
She added, “I still dream of seeing Lebanon’s Television achieve the top position it truly deserves, with all the available resources, because Lebanon’s Television is a gold mine—my precious reserve in my professional work. I have learned so much from it.”
Additionally, Minister Makary honored poet, media figure, and former program director at “Radio Lebanon,” Nabil Ghassan. After the meeting, Ghassan shared his joy, saying, “I was delighted to meet with Minister Makary, who graciously honored me after 46 years of my journey at the Ministry of Information.”
Ghassan praised Minister Makary for being “in tune with the current era of media. He has left a successful imprint that no one else could have matched, with his natural approach and humility.”
