Emirati singer Ahlam Al Shamsi continues to express her gratitude in response to the heartfelt birthday wishes she received from Arab music stars via her personal accounts. Her birthday, which fell on February 13, has been filled with love from both fans and celebrities. She also responded to what Lebanese TV host Neshan had said about her during a recent interview.
In a conversation with Neshan, the Lebanese TV host shared several personal moments and anecdotes involving Arab celebrities, including a touching story about his bond with Ahlam. He recounted a deeply moving gesture by the singer, which left a lasting impression on him.
During a TV appearance on the program “Akhir Al-Usbu’” on Abu Dhabi TV, Neshan revealed that Ahlam had sent him daily messages for a whole month in 2019, following his mother’s open-heart surgery. He expressed how he would never forget her kindness, stating, “These are the relationships that last.”
Touched by Neshan’s words, Ahlam shared a clip of the interview on her social media, where she expressed her appreciation for him: “You are the genuine one, Neshan, there is no one like you. My dear brother and friend.”
Ahlam has been busy responding to the numerous birthday wishes and congratulatory messages she has received, not only from her fans but also from many Arab music stars. She explained that her delayed responses were due to some family circumstances. Ahlam posted a message in response to a birthday greeting from Lebanese singer Carole Samaha, who had wished her: “Happy Birthday, my dear Ahlam! I wish you a year filled with health, love, and success. I love you so much and wish you the best days.”
Ahlam replied: “My soul and my beloved singer… I apologize, my daughter had surgery and I couldn’t leave her for a moment. Please forgive my late reply, but you know how much I love you. Every year, may God never take away this love. I love you dearly and can’t wait to see your concert in Riyadh—I’ll be the first to attend!”
She also responded to a birthday message from Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe, who wrote: “On your birthday, I wish you a year full of love, goodness, and success. Happy Birthday, Queen.” Ahlam replied with affection: “My soul, my heart’s dear Haifa, every year I am surrounded by your love and good health. I love you… Sorry I missed the tweet, but you know how much I adore you.”
