Montenegrin head coach of the Lebanese national football team, Miodrag Radulović, has called up 10 foreign-based players for Lebanon’s upcoming match against Brunei Darussalam. The game is set to take place on March 25 in Doha, Qatar, as part of the first round of Group B qualifiers for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia.

Before the official fixture, the Cedars will play a preparatory friendly match against Timor-Leste in Doha, five days prior to their qualifier.

In the previous training camp, Radulović opted for a younger squad, calling up only four foreign-based players. Despite this, Lebanon secured back-to-back friendly wins against Kuwait, with scores of 2-1 and 2-0.

For the first time, Radulović has included 20-year-old center-back Pedro Bou Dib, who plays for Mexico’s Pachuca, and Al Ahed goalkeeper Chaker Wahbi, replacing the injured veteran Mehdi Khalil. The squad also features key names such as Omar Chaaban, Hassan Srour, Walid Shour, Hussein Chakroun, and Malek Fakhro.

However, several notable players are absent from the squad, including Bangkok United’s Basel Jrad.

Lebanon will compete in Group B alongside Brunei, Yemen, and Bhutan.
