Moroccan fans are in for a treat as Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama and Egyptian singer Tamer Ashour are set to perform their highly anticipated concerts tonight as part of the 20th edition of the Mawazine – Rhythms of the World Festival. The festival, a major annual event on the international music calendar, is currently underway in Rabat, the Moroccan capital, across various stages.

Tamer Ashour will kick off his performance tonight, Tuesday, June 24, at the Mohammed V National Theatre. He’s expected to deliver a captivating set, featuring a selection of his most beloved and interactive songs that his audience has come to know by heart. In a special surprise for festival-goers, Ashour will also present a unique medley of his works, specifically prepared for this occasion.

Meanwhile, Ragheb Alama will command the stage at the Nahda Theatre for his grand concert. Alama plans to treat his fans to a wide array of his most famous songs, spanning both his classic hits and newer tracks from his latest album, which have garnered significant buzz across social media platforms.

This artistic gathering celebrates two decades since the festival’s inception. Mawazine has firmly established itself as a prominent annual fixture, renowned for its diverse musical offerings and commitment to cultural authenticity.

This year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of both Arab and international stars. Notable performers include global superstar Will Smith, along with Wael Jassar, Sherine Abdel Wahab, Diana Haddad, Ziad Bourji, Myriam Fares, Nancy Ajram, and American rapper 50 Cent, among many other talented artists.
