Just when you thought Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t get any better, the star does something which makes you love her even more. The Hunger Games actress donated $2M to a children’s charity in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.
Lawrence set up the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Children’s Hospital, and announced her donation via a video message.
“As part of my effort to help these children and caregiver, I challenge the entire community to get behind this cause and help my gift by raising an additional $2M to support all of these brave and inspiring children.”
This is not the first time Lawrence has donated to charities, and she is also a frequent visitor to patients in children’s hospitals.
So where does all this love and generosity come from?
Before Lawrence became a famous Hollywood Star, she used to be an assistant nurse at her parent’s summer camp and actually intended to become a nurse.
Lawrence is truly an inspiration for many and continues to amaze the world with her actions.
