Lebanese singer Abeer Nehme has shared insights into her role in the highly anticipated Ramadan 2025 drama series Nafas, directed by Elie Samaha and produced by Al-Sabah Brothers. She confirmed that she will soon record the show’s theme song, which was written and composed by renowned artist Marwan Khoury. Abeer also revealed that her character in the series empathizes with Daniella Rahme’s role, as they face off against Abed Fahed and Moatasem Al-Nahar.
Abeer Nehme further disclosed that a music video will be filmed for the theme song. However, she noted that the song is not yet complete, and she has yet to record her vocals. Even the show’s main cast members have not had the chance to listen to it.
Expressing her excitement about the project, Abeer described the storyline as “powerful and deeply emotional,” emphasizing her strong connection to female characters in dramas. This bond made her feel particularly close to Daniella Rahme’s character.
Nafas is one of the most anticipated series of Ramadan 2025, combining an intriguing plot with exceptional performances, making it a strong competitor in the upcoming drama season. Notably, Daniella Rahme is making a remarkable comeback with this series after being absent from the Ramadan 2024 lineup. She plays the role of “Rouh,” a character inspired by a real person she met in Lebanon, adding a layer of authenticity and emotional depth to the story. The series blends mystery and romance, two elements that consistently captivate audiences.
Daniella expressed her happiness with the audience’s enthusiastic reactions to the promotional posters, which highlighted the much-anticipated on-screen chemistry between Abed Fahed, Moatasem Al-Nahar, and herself.
In Nafas, Abed Fahed portrays “Anssi,” Moatasem Al-Nahar takes on the role of “Ghaith,” while Daniella Rahme plays “Rouh,” a professional dancer. To embody the character realistically, Daniella had to lose weight to maintain the dancer’s athletic physique.
Reflecting on her absence from last year’s Ramadan drama season, Daniella admitted that it was a challenging time for her, as she felt a sense of loss for the first time. However, she sees it as a learning experience that made her stronger. She also extended her congratulations to her colleagues at Eagle Films for their latest projects, expressing her respect for their hard work and dedication.
