It seems safe to say that Ashley Tisdale has officially joined the ranks of celebrities who have been bitten by the house-flipping bug.
The actor and singer has relished in taking a hands-on approach to decorating her recent homes (even going as far as launching her own interior design company), then moving on after a couple of years and starting the process anew.
The former Disney Channel star’s most recent offering to the Los Angeles real estate market is a midcentury-style gem in the Hollywood Hills, priced at $6.8 million.
Located in LA’s Nichols Canyon neighborhood, the dwelling was built in 1948. The High School Musical star and her husband, composer Christopher French, scooped up the abode in the fall of 2022 for $6.15 million.
The actor selected local landscape design firm Inner Gardens to revamp the compound’s outdoor areas.
She personally designed a two-story guesthouse-turned-office to accommodate both her interior design business and her wellness brands, Frenshe and Being Frenshe.
“I just wanted to go with really natural textures and let greenery speak,”
Tisdale said.
“The plan for the office was about creating a really calm environment that feels inspiring to everybody that works here.”
To achieve that goal, the multi-hyphenate selected floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, a neutral palette, and natural materials throughout the structure.
The main home features a similar style, with lots of warm neutrals and rustic, unpainted wood found throughout.
The common areas feature exposed beams and hardwood floors. Rows upon rows of sliding glass doors open up onto the brick pool patio and other lushly planted outdoor nooks. Between the two structures, there are four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and approximately 4,000 square feet of interior space.
