In her first response to the cancellation of her Eid concert in Kuwait, Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe took to Instagram Stories to share a post revealing the behind-the-scenes details of the decision.
Haifa Wehbe’s Indirect Response
Wehbe reshared a statement that read: “The concert of the beloved star Haifa Wehbe in Kuwait has been canceled due to ‘circumstances beyond our control.’ The reality is that certain parties have worked relentlessly to cancel the event since it was first announced.”
The statement further clarified that “all concert arrangements were in full compliance with the official regulations and licensing requirements set by the country for organizing events.”
This reaction sparked significant engagement from Wehbe’s fans, who expressed their frustration over attempts to hinder her artistic career and block her performances.
Concert Cancellation by Kuwait’s Ministry of Information
The statement followed the official announcement by Kuwait’s Ministry of Information confirming the concert’s cancellation. This was set to be Wehbe’s first-ever live performance in Kuwait during the Eid celebrations.
Event producer Zaid Bashar Abdulreda also addressed the issue on Instagram, stating: “Haifa Wehbe’s concert has been canceled due to reasons beyond our control. All ticket payments made through the ‘Eventat’ platform will be refunded.”

The news triggered widespread reactions across social media, with Wehbe’s fans rallying behind her. Many speculated that the cancellation was the result of a targeted campaign despite the concert meeting all legal requirements.
