guaçu Falls is located at the point where Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina meet, where it drops spectacularly in a semicircle of 247 waterfalls which thunder down into the gorge below. The force of the water here is so strong because just above the falls, the river is constricted to one-fourth of its usual width. Some of the falls are more than 100 meters high and the best place to get a panoramic view is from the Brazilian side of the Falls. Catwalks and a tower are available in order to give you different perspectives and views. You can cross to the Argentinian side for closer views from catwalks that extend farther into the center of the falls. It is highly recommended that you witness these views from both sides in order to get two different perspectives.
