Lara Worthington has been spotted enjoying the Sydney sunshine after returning home with her husband Sam and their three kids recently.
The model, who was living in Los Angeles, was snapped enjoying the harbour from a luxury yacht with her brother Joshua Bingle.
The 34-year-old – who was announced as the Swisse beauty ambassador last year – enjoyed a dip in the water to cool off from the sizzling temperatures, wearing a black bandeau bikini with matching high-waisted bottoms.
It’s not the first time Lara has been seen enjoying her home city since her return, with Lara photographed at Whale Beach for a photo shoot last week.
Lara, who shares sons Rocket, 6, Racer, 4, and River, 1, with her actor husband, was seen coming out of the water with a big grin across her face as she clutched onto a pair of flippers.
After enjoying a quick dip, the Cronulla-born model took an outdoor shower before heading into a studio for the shoot.
The top model first rose to fame back in 2006 with the Tourism Australia campaign So Where The Bloody Hell Are Ya?
Lara and Avatar actor Sam met in 2013 by chance at a festival in New York City and tied the knot the following year.
The family-of-five, who have been living in the US, flew home to Australia earlier this year ahead of Sam taking on the lead role of Bo in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Appropriate.
Lara said her ups and downs in the public eye here in Australia had taught her a valuable lesson.
“I’ve been through so many phases in my life and I’ve learnt that the people you surround yourself with are so important,” she said.
“Good people are my go-to. I’ve learnt that trusting people is imperative. I really value their opinions and take it all on board, and then develop my own thoughts and feelings.”
She said her move to the US is what helped her slide into a normal life – one her husband craved more than she did – but one she soon realised she needed.
“I don’t have to put on any facade with him, and moving to America has meant we’re able to live a really normal life. In fact, he’s more normal than me. He’s the guy from Perth who drinks milk before he goes to bed!” she told Stellar.
