The 2025 “Beautiful Times” Festival recently celebrated a constellation of Arab artists in Lebanon, in a magnificent event held at the Ambassadors’ Hall in Casino du Liban. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hrach Sagbazarian, President of the festival, and members of the organizing committee.

Among those honored at the festival’s eighth session was the esteemed artist Wafaa Mosalli. She was recognized for her diverse contributions to the world of art and creativity, and in appreciation of her brilliant career spanning comedy, tragedy, drama, theater, and cinema. Her impact has left an indelible mark on the memories of Arab audiences throughout her many years of distinguished artistic life.

Commenting on the occasion, Mosalli expressed her joy at the honor in a statement to “Al-Anbaa” newspaper, saying, “Thank you, Lebanon, the heart, love, beauty, art, and culture, from Syria.”

In her acceptance speech, Wafaa praised the festival’s choice of “Beautiful Times” as its name, acknowledging the profound meaning it holds for artists, etching itself into their memories. Writer and media personality Charbel Al-Ghawi remarked, “In the memory of childhood, there are faces that never leave us, voices that live with us, and features that inhabit the small details of our days. Among those faces, your face, Wafaa, shines like an unextinguished stage light or a perpetually glowing scene on the screen of the heart. Your presence adds to the festival itself, because honoring Wafaa Mosalli is honoring an entire generation and acknowledging a voice that transcends borders and years.”

The “Beautiful Times” Festival is renowned as one of the most prominent events celebrating artistic heritage, where it pays tribute to major stars who have left an unforgettable mark on the history of art.
