Let’s think Positive!

Positive thinking is just like anything else we learn, it takes a little practice to get good at it.
And to get good at it, you have to make it part of your life by integrating it as your way of living little by little until it just becomes natural. And just like pretty much any sport out there, it’s easy to learn but difficult to master.
You should not let any perceived difficulty hold you back because the benefits are so immense, that once you make it second nature, you will look back and wonder why you didn’t begin adopting positive thinking earlier in life.
So, to begin it takes conditioning of the mind and once you begin to advance in your level of understanding, you will then realize that it all emanates from your heart. Everything in this world has polarity, good and bad, black or white, north and south, east and west, and the list goes on, but it is all a matter of perception.
It is our perception of things that leads us to believe as something being positive or negative. This perception can be caused by the conditioning we have lived through up to this point. It can come from our parents, television, teachers, school, previous experiences or someone else’s experiences! Everything and anything that has an influence on your perception. No two lives are ever the same because even in the same situations two individuals perceive things differently.
So if the world is full of potential negative influences, we wonder how can we be more positive?
First, by realizing that I AM responsible for my own life and I ALONE know what makes me feel good or bad and so I CAN decide to put more action, thought, and energy into that or NOT.
Each one of us can realize that he or she can “write their own program for life” create their own experiences, ones that serve them and make them feel good.
I can begin with little things such as associating with more positive people, watching more uplifting movies instead of horrors ones, do stuff that encourages learning, excites me in a good way and motivates me.
From that point on everything will get better and better and we will create a snow ball effect.
