British singer, songwriter, and producer Mika, of Lebanese descent, expressed his solidarity with the protesters in Lebanon in a video shared prior to his participation in the final episode of “The Voice Kids” in its French version.

In the video, Mika said in English: “I have set the Lebanese flag as my profile picture on Instagram and Twitter… I am watching what’s happening there. I see young people, children, people in middle age, and the elderly expressing their frustration with the leaders in power.”

He added, “It doesn’t matter what their backgrounds are, what matters is their unity and their common demands… It’s moving to watch these events from afar. I am with each and every one of you, and I am following the developments with my family.”
