The Living Lanes Markets Play learn shop meet

After the success of the inaugural event this past July, the Living Laneways Markets at Rockdale returned in August and in September with a vibrant Spring Market event. But don’t worry, you didn’t miss it yet. It will be on again in October, November and December with lots to offer you if you visit the place.
The Living Laneways Markets is a monthly market event that features a unique theme and visitors can expect a variety of stalls, unique art installations, creative workshops, fun activities and entertainment at each market.
August event featured an animal petting zoo. September event featured a variety of home and garden stalls, also the opportunity to make your mark on a community mural and much more!
This month event will be held on Saturday 25 October 2014. It will offer vintage retro and second hand stalls, vintage transportation show also vintage cloth show. How exciting to be taken back into that colourful period of time. Make sure not to miss it!
November the 8th will be all about fashion, accessories and jewels stalls and you can even learn to sew if you wish .And what can be nicer to wrap up the year then being around the Christmas Tree? That’s where the gathering is held on Thursday 4 th of December till 9pm.
This exciting initiative is revitalising the Rockdale Town Centre with an eclectic display of market stalls, art installations and workshops for all to enjoy. Come along with the whole family and support local artists, artisans, community groups and schools. Entry is free!
