A devastating car accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday at approximately 2:00 AM in the Gemmayzeh area near the Mar Mikhael intersection.
According to reports, a speeding Porsche with dark-tinted windows struck a young man, Suleiman Mubarak, and a young woman, Razan Jaber, in front of a local restaurant. The driver immediately fled the scene after the accident.
Eyewitnesses confirmed that Razan died instantly, while Suleiman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition due to severe bleeding. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
