Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, is the loving father to six kids, with beautiful wife Angelina Jolie.
This power couple, who married on 23rd August 2014, and their children Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 6, are Hollywood’s favourite and most loved family.
Brad Pitt told U.K.’s Psychologies magazine, that fatherhood changed him and that he feels like the richest man alive since he became a father.
“You learn to value the basic beauty of family, of watching your children grow and evolve. It’s the most beautiful thing you can experience.”
“I feel like the richest man alive since I’ve become a father,” Pitt adds.
It is no surprise that fatherhood would change someone so much, but Pitt and Jolie are a super family, as they continue wowing the world with their humanitarian work, their films, all while looking after their large family.
“Being a father has changed me on so many levels and made me more generous and alive. I see my children as an essential part of my life, and it means so much to be able to educate them and help them make their way in the world as they grow up,” said Pitt.
With their busy schedule, it is important to maintain a healthy relationship with the kids. Sometimes, when Jolie is away filming a movie, the kids spend extra time with their father.
“It’s special time for daddy when mom works for a few months,” says the actress and UN Goodwill Ambassador. “And Brad is such a great dad. When I’m working, he’s putting in the extra dad time, and that’s special for their relationship, too.”
Jolie says Pitt is “extraordinary,” and he is a “great, loving father,” adding that he’s “a very, very intelligent man.”
However, Pitt says that he couldn’t have done this without the help and devotion from Jolie.
“Angelina is just amazing. I’ll be tired and lie down on the sofa and then she’ll keep going until late at night. And that makes me feel like, ‘Why am I taking it easy?’ so I’ll go help out and play with the boys and get them to bed. You realize that you always have the energy inside you, and as a parent you need to have a lot of willpower,” says Pitt.
“I care about them more than I care about myself, which I think is the real definition of love. You see past yourself and become more generous and giving, and wanting only the best for your family.”
