Akey jewellery trend for this season is statement earrings. Think big and think bling. Anything that shines and sparkles is a great addition to your spring accessories wardrobe, and can give a casual outfit and instant glamour fix. Flats are of course still a stylish shoe statement, embodying both comfort and style. Perfectly versatile for any occasion, flats can be dressed up or down for any occasion and can even be seen on the red carpet. Instead of going with your regular flats try a pair with lace up detailing which will give your look a fresher and more up to date feel.
Gladiator Sandals
Spring shoe trends are plentiful with a wide variety to choose from this season. One of which is the gladiator sandal which can be laced up to the knee or higher. This powerful statement shoe can be paired with a softer flowing dress or printed pants to soften up the strong look from the shoe.
Platform Shoes
Coming off from the latest 70s trend, platform shoes are making a big comeback. Coming in a variety of colours and styles, platforms can be worn with a range of ensembles from flared jeans with a slim fitted t-shirt for day time or dressed up with a voluminous dress for the evening. These shoes are sky high and fun to wear.
Obi Belts
For belts this spring there has been an overwhelming amount of obi belts used in various fashion shows from Alexander Wang to Tome. These belts help to finish off a streamlined outfit but can also be relaxed and understated. These belts are also perfect for cinching in voluminous or oversized pieces of clothing without being too conspicuous giving a more cinched in or streamlined appearance to the overall look.
